2019 Jampot Rally - Rangiwoods - Manawatu

The 2019 Jampot Rally is being held at Camp Rangi Woods in the Pohangina Valley. The camp is in a rural setting situated in the Totara Reserve regional park, locally known as “The jewel of the Manawatu”. The area is of native forest and Camp Rangi Woods runs parallel to the Pohangina River 35 minutes from Palmerston North and Feilding.

The 2019 Jampot is a “second try” at having a rally at Rangi Woods as those who attended the 2012 Jampot rally there will recall that the weather bomb that hit the district was particualy devastating and violent.

Past Rallies

The Kiwi Jampot is set to alternate between the North and South Islands, with (usually) 2 years in the North Island and 1 year in the South, although more recently this pattern has changed due to availability of venues. This reflects the larger number of club members in the North Island and also a greater variety of venues.
