Annual Jampot Rally

The Kiwi Jampot Rally is set to alternate between the North and South Islands, with (usually) 2 years in the North Island and 1 year in the South, although more recently this pattern has changed due to availability of venues. This reflects the larger number of club members in the North Island and also a greater variety of venues.

Annual General Meeting

The Club's AGM is held in conjunction with the annual rally. At the AGM, Executive Committee reports to members as to what has been happening over the last financial year and asks members to approve of the financial statement prepared by the Treasurer. Most importantly, the members appoint the various office holders.

If you are thinking about giving back to the Club, now’s your chance. To gain an idea of what a particular role would look like, we have prepared guidelines for your consideration.

2019 Jampot Rally - Rangiwoods - Manawatu

The 2019 Jampot Rally has been held at Camp Rangi Woods in the Pohangina Valley. The camp is in a rural setting situated in the Totara Reserve regional park, locally known as “The jewel of the Manawatu”. The area is of native forest and Camp Rangi Woods runs parallel to the Pohangina River 35 minutes from Palmerston North and Feilding.

The 2019 Jampot was our “second try” at having a rally at Rangi Woods as those who attended the 2012 Jampot rally there will recall that the weather bomb that hit the district was particualy devastating and violent.

This time around the weather was fine - just a spot of overnight rain. Then it was zoom, zoom, zoom a long the quite back roads of the Manawatu. Up hill and down dale, around corners made for motorcycles. Brilliant!
Here’s a photo of the rally. More will be popped up over the next few days.
See you next year at our International Rally.
