23rd Jampot Rally - Pahiatua
Friday 5 - Sunday 7 March 2010

Update from Your Organising Committee

Eddie Davison and Derek Porter have been working very hard on getting the rally organised. A good Saturday run has been set and is in the process of being tested and fme tuned. We have a couple of interesting destinations for you, one of which we can reveal now. Many of you asked if it was possible to visit the Tui Brewery at Mangatainoka.

Tui Brewery

Derek has arranged a visit for 3pm on the Saturday afternoon and also negotiated a discount entry price for the tour and a cup of tea just joking about the tea) plus a sampling of the products. The lunch stop and AGM will be back at Masters Hall as the Saturday ride passes back through Pahiatua around lunchtime.

The site has 64 with a possibility of up to 72 beds for accommodation and there is plenty of room for those who wish to camp or tent. Unfortunately we are limited to having only 72 beds available in the Master Hall as the Nurses Wing will not now be ready in time as fIrst indicated to us, however the local hotel has been tentatively booked as have the local motels for any extra accommodation. So it is a matter of fIrst in fIrst served for Masters Hall accommodation and if we need extra then you will be directed to the hotel or motels both of which will attract a higher accommodation cost with the extra being payable at the time. There is no problem with campers or campervans sites at the Masters Hall as there's plenty of room for that. The accommodation in the Masters Hall includes linen so no need to bring a fleabag to sleep in.

Pahiatua Rally 2010

There is a close off date for entries and that is Saturday February 20th 2010 to allow us good time to fmalise matters including the catering. Download you entry form here.

The rally organising committee has managed to keep the price down as much as possible to make it as affordable as possible. So start saving those pennies now and book your tickets. A bulk Interisland booking code will be announced in the next newsletter.
