Rally Plan
(subject to Covid all clear)
Friday the 5th
4pm - Arrive/register.
6pm - BBQ by Canterbury club members at Holiday Park.
Saturday the 6th
Breakfast at Holiday Park
9.00am - Depart on ride into Hinterland including Rangitata Diversion Race intake.
12.30pm - Lunch at Blue Pub Methven (your cost) followed by AGM. Ride then continues to, and for a look through the Highbank power-station on Rakaia river. Thereafter returning to Mt Somers 4.30pm ish.
7pm - Dinner at Stronechrubie High Country Cuisine. Trophies/prizes/speaker.
Sunday the 7th
Breakfast and farewell!
Self-Serve Fuel
Mt Somers village has fuel/shop/pub with bottle store. The pub is across the road from the Holiday Park and the general store with self-serve fuel is close by.

Please note: The 2020 International Rally, made a small surplus of $2096.50.But because money came in in the previous year and all exspenses were in this financial year it looks like a loss
Mt Somers Holiday Park
Welcome to Mt Somers Holiday Park, situated at Mt Somers on the Inland Scenic Route 72, between Christchurch and Queenstown. We are conveniently located just 1 hour's drive south of Christchurch Airport and only 1 hour's drive to the beautiful Mackenzie Basin. The park has a tranquil setting amongst established trees...
Covid Outbreak
In the event of a Covid related cancellation of the rally, refunds of the
entry fee and for accommodation booked at the Mt Somers Holiday Park (less costs if any) will be favourably considered by the organising group.
But of course, those arranging alternative accommodation will need to themselves sort out the possible refund situation when making their bookings.
