Clarks Beach Holiday Park: 3 - 5 March 2023

Venue and AGM

Clarks Beach Holiday Park, 226 Torkar Road, Clarks Beach, together with adjacent facilty at Clarks Beach Yacht Club, opposite the camp. Accommodation is at the Holiday Park.

The Yacht Club building is suitable for socialising and dining. It has a licensed cash Bar, which Yacht club members will do for us. Fri night BBQ, breakfasts, and the Sat evening dinner will also be there.

Rally Plan

Friday the 3rd

Rally Headquarters open at 3pm for registration and to collect rally packs. Followed by drinks and evening BBQ at the. Yacht Club.

Saturday the 4th

Details will be provided in the Rally Pack, but will include a morning ride with a lunch break and AGM, and a continuation of the ride. Drinks and Dinner at the Yacht Club.

Sunday the 5th

Breakfast, checkout, and departure.

Accommodation

The Holiday Park has “Lodge” accommodation sleeping up to 16 in 5 separate small bedrooms, and this accomodation has been booked for Jampot attendees. Cost for 2 nights per person is $63.00. Those booking “Lodge” category accomodation will pay the Register with their entry Fees and other Rally costs (see entry form). If you have others you wish to room with, please make this known when booking. Lodge occupants will need to bring their own sleeping bag, or their own linen and blankets. The Echelon will provide pillows for “Lodge” occupants.

See the Holiday Park Web Page for other accommodation options and costs. These include, Cabins, Studio Motels, Baches, Powered Tent and Motorhome sites. Please book all accomodation, other than “Lodge”, directly with the Holiday Park, and make payment direct also. Bookings will be on a first come-first served basis. Remember other members of the public are likely to be booking accommodation as well. When booking, please tell the Camp that you are part of the AJS/Matchless group.

Note that there is no linen hire service at the Holiday Park.

Other off-site motel accommodation is available in Pukekohe, approx 20 minutes from Clarks Beach.

Petrol Station

There's a pertol station - GAS Waiau Pa - about 5 minutes away along Clark’s Beach Road.
Use your AA card for a discount.

Note. 1) All entrants must be members of NZ AJS and Matchless Owners Register or affiliated Club.
2) By completing the application form and paying to attend the rally you are stating that you understand that all attendees are responsible for their own actions and that the rally organisers will not accept responsibility for any loss, accident, injury or damage incurred by any entrant or visitors to the rally.

Clarks Beach Holiday Park

Welcome to Clarks Beach Holiday Park. Clarks Beach is approx 1 hour’s drive/ride from Auckland, depending on traffic.

It’s on the Manukau Harbour, at the mouth of the Waiuku River, opposite the Awhitu Peninsula.

From The Southern Motorway, Exit 461 (Pukekohe, Drury) , take SH22 (Karaka Rd) towards, Pukekohe, Waiuku. Immediately after the Paerata Caltex Station (on the left), exit SH22 by taking a right turn on to Glenbrook Rd, (signposted to Waiuku, Glenbrook) There is a major roundabout at a crossroads – turn right on to Kingseat Road, then left on to Waiau Pah Road, through Waiau Pah, keeping left on to Clarks Beach Road. Entering Clarks Beach, stay on this road and then on to Torkar Road which runs along the southern Manukau shore. The Holiday Park is right at the (western) end of Torkar Road.
